Visual Arts:
MOSAICS & COLLAGES July 5 —July 8 $130.00 (4 day camp)
Students will create several intricate projects of Collage and Mosaics. They will use materials such as glossy pictures, colored paper, plaster, tile, shells, beads, wood and many others. The projects will range from small tiles, to poster-sized collage and class project of a giant mosaic.
ADVENTURES IN ACTING (Ages 6-12) 12:30p - 3:30p
1st session: June 20-June 24
2nd session: July 18-22 *NEW $150.00
A class especially for the budding actor or actress! Students will not only learn new acting techniques and games, they will put these techniques to use in a performance at the end of the camp. Students will hone their "behind the scenes" skills by creating short scenes, and creating costumes and sets for their production.
REPURPOSED ART June 20-June 24 $150.00
"Reuse. Recycle. Recreate." Students will make projects not only from recycled materials, but will also turn nature's own materials into great works of art! This class will teach students the finer points of art as well as how to conserve their evironment!
KNITTING FOR BEGINNERS (Ages 10-16) $150.00

Students will learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off stitches. The class includes materials to make 2 projects.
EXTREME CRAFTING June 27 - July 1 $150.00
"Art that you use!" Take ordinary crafts to an extreme level! Students will learn color, balance, and form while creating crafts with an extreme artistic flair.
INTRODUCTION TO FILMMAKING (Ages 10+)

Spend a week in Hollywood! Well, Ocean City's version of tinsel-town. Here students will spend a week turning their own stories into short films. Students will not only learn scriptwriting and storyboarding but they will also have an opportunity to use state of the art editing equipment, which features Final-Cut Pro software (an industry standard)!
PASSPORT TO ART (4 day camp)
1st session: July 5 — July 8 $130.00
2nd session: July 18 - July 22 $150.00
This five day art experience will take students on an art-filled journey around the world. Using a large variety of materials, students will create spectacular artwork inspired by various cultures around the globe. On each day of their journey, the students will create one piece of culturally significant art. Students will record their travel destinations in a hand-crafted, personalized "passport".
3 D ARTCAMP August 1 —August 5 $150.00
“Stop Thinking Flat!” Artwork will come to life in this class! Projects will range from classic sculptures to modern installations. From the abstract to the sensible, students will create works of art from clay and odd mediums such as cardboard, plastic, wire and more.
FUN WITH SCULPTURE AND CRAFT
1st Session: July 11-15 *New

This class is great for creative minds. Young artists will get a chance to experience many different mediums to create sculpture and craft items. They will work with clay, paper, found objects, papier-mache, and collage. Emphasis will be on process, imagination and individual expression.
MODERN ART CAMP July 25 -July 29 $150.00
“It’s New. It’s Fun. It’s Modern.” One of our most popular classes back again for the 4th year, with familiar favorites and new projects too! From splatter painting to abstract sculpture students will draw, paint, and sculpt in various mediums while learning the history of Modern Art. Each student will receive their own sketchbook and pencils.
DRAWING AND PAINTING July 25— July 29 $150.00
(Two classes: Ages 6-10 & Ages 11-13)
This camp is filled with fun art projects! Activities include lessons with shapes and expressions, and works featuring various subject such as animals, cars, scenery and people. Sketches and progress will be recorded in a sketchbook and students will finish with several nice drawings and paintings.
ART & INVENTION CAMP July 18-July 22 $150.00
“Imagination, Invention and Artistic Creation!” This class will teach students the connection between art and invention, like DaVinci and so many others. Projects include a giant catapult, a flying wing, and kinetic energy and chemical reaction experiments. Join us for lots of fun!
MUSICAL THEATER PERFORMANCE (Ages 6-12)
August 8 - August 12 12:30p - 3:30p $150.00
Learn what it takes to put on a great musical theater performance! Students will sing, dance and act their way through this fun camp, which will culminate in a revue-style performance at the end of the week.
CARTOONING
1st session: July 11-July 15
2nd Session: August 8 - August 12 $150.00
Students will enjoy Cartooning, from humorous style to Japanese to Comic Book. Activities include lessons in line, shape and expressions, and they will record their progress in a sketchbook. They will work in pencil, markers and paint to create cartoon characters and stories in comic strip or booklet format.
CUBISM ART CAMP August 15 - August 19 $150.00
“All Things Are Made Of Basic Shapes.” Students will learn to draw, paint, and sculpt in a cubistic style. Breaking objects down into simple shapes will build a good foundation in understanding balance, form and color. Students will keep an artistic journal throughout the week of their adventures in cubism.
MOMMY & ME SCULPTURE/CRAFT (Ages 3-6)
Aug 15 - Aug 19 $150.00
This is a new class that is great for creative young minds and active hands. Young artists will get a chance to experience many different techniques and artistic explorations. A parent or guardian will accompany their young artist and together will sculpt from clay, paint and create many fun crafts!
BIG ART Aug 22 - Aug 26 $150.00
Create large works of art. Big paintings to giant sculptures. Every work of art in this class will be done on a large scale. Students will be working with all types of mediums from clay to cardboard. Giant projects will bring out the big artist in even the smallest students.
ART CAMP SAMPLER Aug 29 - Sep 2 $150.00
Find your favorite art medium! Paint, draw, develop cartoons, and create a different project each day.
Class sizes are limited; however, afternoon sessions from 12:30-3;30 will be offered should there be an adequate number of interested campers!

Performing Arts:
ACTING FOR THE CAMERA (Ages 10+) July 11-July 15 $150.00
So you want to be a film or television star? This one-week course offers acting strategies devised specifically for screen acting. Students work with script samples while using technology that helps them sharpen their ability to be the next shining Hollywood Star.
DANCE AT ITS BEST! (Ages 7+) July 18 - July 22 Second session: Aug 8 - Aug 12 $160.00
Offers ballet, jazz and hip hop technique. Start out with ballet technique and then go into jazz and then hip hop. This camp boosts creativity, technique, confidence and performance!
BALLET TECHNIQUE (Ages 8-15) July 25 - July 29 Second Session: Aug 15 - Aug 19 $160.00
The focus is on ballet movement and structure. Students will start with a ballet barre and learn how to stretch. We will have a ballet center warm-up and then move to across-the-floor movement. Each class will end with a routine for the end of the week performance. The performance will be performed to ballet classic. This is a beautiful program and your child will feel enriched after taking it! Black leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes are the uniform.
FUTURE POP STARS (Ages 6-12) Aug 1 - Aug 5 Second session: Aug 22 - Aug 26 $160.00
Students have a chance to move and dance like their favorite pop stars! Class will involve jazz and hip hop movement with pop dancing! We will then go over stage movement. Students will sing to their favorite pop songs and move like stars. They will also make and design costumes and learn to move with the microphone!
GUITAR CAMP (Ages 9-adult) Aug 1 - Aug 12
TIME: 1pm - 2pm $150.00
Learn to play guitar! It's fun! It's easy! Don't miss out!
First week: students learn the basics of guitar, maintenance, keeping time and rhythms, chord charts and tablature. Students will be able to play 3-4 songs.
Second week: chord progressions and major scales are taught. Students will learn many styles such as blues, rock and jazz. Students will understand all types of written guitar music. Guitar rentals are available.
NOTE: All dance camps include 1 hr of Ballet technical training for skills used in all dance styles
