Marcos Monteiro |
| was born and raised in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He went to the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro (Fine Arts). At age 23, he began his career as a professional illustrator. He worked in Rio for 10 years as a commercial illustrator at various advertising agencies. He moved to the U.S. in 1991 to expand his career in commercial illustration and joined the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Since then he has worked on ad campaigns for major U.S. Corps and teaches oil painting and drawing. |
