Susan Rau
Raised in Ohio, Susan has spent her life painting. She continues to work in art in various media. Presently Susan works primarily in the water mediums. She creates unique and unusual decorative items, including furniture pieces and home decorations. Ms. Rau's watercolors express her love of nature, created through working with colors and shapes and movements of design. Rau's works are included in many collections in the U.S. and in other countries.

Rau shows her work at the Ocean City Art League on Asbury Avenue, at the Ocean City Art Center on Simpson Avenu, at the Wild Bird Crossing in Seaville, NJ and at the East End Gallery in Margate. She has shown her work at the Garden Pier in Atlantic City, and at the Fourth Street Cafe in Ocean City. She has recently participated in the "Glimpses of Winter" juried exhibition located in the Main Gallery at the Riverfront. She has served at the Ocean City Arts Center for many years as a teacher.
