You will be charged a lesson fee if we aren't notified of your absence 24 hours before a lesson. It is imperative that we be notified at least a resonable time before your lesson.

PIANO

All piano instruction is one on one. All students will learn the language of music, develop performance skills and grow in the appreciation of music through participation. Students must have at their disposal either an acoustic piano or a minimum 61 key keyboard.

GUITAR

Ages 7 - Adult

Individual guitar instruction for all ages, levels and styles.   Students will also learn music theory, how to use amplifiers, electronic effects, microphones, and sound equipment. Second year students use state of the art recording programs, and can participate in one of the OCAC bands that perform with violin, piano, drum and dance students. Learn more than just guitar, learn to perform! Guitar rentals available.

PERCUSSION

Ages 7 -  Adult

Students learn sight reading, ear training, snare drum rudiments, drum set, dynamics in music, use of sticks, mallets and brushes in all musical settings.  Preparation for school band, community orchestras, pop bands, college concert and marching bands. Taught by experienced, professional  musician.

HARP

Ages 7—Adult

Students will learn the Salzedo harp method. Beginners will learn how to read music and learn basic music theory. These lessons are for those learning for fun or looking to persue the instrument professionally. A harp is available for practice at the Arts Center and for use during individual private lessons.

VIOLIN

Individual violin instruction. Beginners will learn about the instrument, how to properly hold the violin and bow, proper finger placement and how to read music.
