At the moment, the only person qualified to describe the May exhibit in the Arts Center is the Artist directing its installation.  John Hobbie, designer of theatre art and fine art, has an image in his mind which will be played out 3 dimensionally in the Ocean City Arts Center’s Gallery.  This exhibit is the first time the Gallery has hosted this specific visual form.  Mr. Hobbie has gathered students from Stockton State College and will include volunteers at the Arts Center to help construct this visual, which we are told, we will be able to “walk through.”  Objects of paper and other disposable materials will be discarded after the show is taken down.  On the walls we have invited John Hobbie to hang some of his 2-D art.  This exciting, over-the-top 3-D art show will kick off the first of the summer’s Gallery line-up for 2007.  Come visit at the reception or during the month!  Don’t miss this event.
