In May the Arts Center Gallery will feature some of the paintings in the Center's impressive Permanent Collection.  Most of the pieces in the collection are from the Purchase Award in the Boardwalk Art Show and they include oils, watercolors, pastels, linocuts, etc.  Because the Collection has grown over the years, the Center has decided to offer the art work for sale to the general public.  The move to de-accession these pieces is dictated by the fact that the Center simply doesn't have enough wall space left to display the work properly and also by the fact that the Center is not a museum.  The level of activity in the Center's classrooms and its lack of proper light, temperature, and humidity controls dictate a sale of this nature.  It is a wonderful opportunity for the general public to purchase some of the finest art in the South Jersey area.
