Ocean City Arts Center's Permanent Collection
Reception: Friday, September 9, 7 to 8:30pm

A selection of the Ocean City Arts Center's works will be on sale in September in the main gallery of the center. Watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings, as well as photography will be featured. The work was purchased by the center during past Boardwalk Art Shows. It is being sold due to the large number of paintings owned by the Arts Center and the lack of room to hang all the work.

Some of the featured artists include Jim Penland, Esther Weil, Marian Talese and Katya Held. Other artists are Betty Haggerty, Gerald Lynch, Jim Crawford, Freda L. Reiter, Florence Deeley, Bev. Brown, C.O. Casey, Robert Brown and Carrie Liu. Most of the artists are from Ocean City and the surrounding community.

"The Permanent Collection Sale at the Ocean City Arts Center provides art-lovers with a great opportunity to own some of the area artists' best work at a reasonable cost. Paintings will range from $50 to $1500." Executive Director Rosalyn Lifshin said.

Work will be available for viewing as of September 1. A reception will be held, free and open to the public, Friday, September 9, 7pm to 8:30pm. the work will be priced the evening of the reception.
