About the Show...

Photographer Kubilay Bekirogullari, a native of Istanbul, Turkey, offers images of his homeland at the Ocean City Arts Center February 1 through February 28. His work will be for sale.

About Kubilay...

Kubilay, a Mays Landing, New Jersey resident, began taking photographs while in middle school in Turkey. He is self-taught through memberships in various photography groups. In the US, he is a member of Stockton University's "Stay Focused" photography club. His photographs, which will be for sale, are images of the Turkish landscape including mosques.

Kubilay said, "Photography is my calling, my passion and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane sometimes. I don't shoot subjects. Instead I photograph the way they make me feel."

OCAC Executive Director Rosalyn Lifshin said, "We are so happy feature Kubilay's photos at the Arts Center. They truly communicate the beauty of Turkey and it's rich culture. He strives for perfection and it really shows in his work."
