Artist Statement...

I am a creative problem solver first and a painter second. I have a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Communication, Arts and Design. I am truly a visual thinker. I spent the better part of my adult life in the world of advertising, creating campaigns, crafting messages as well as producing giant visuals for the masses.

When I paint, there is a real self-satisfaction. I am creating something I was meant to create. I am free to explore any subject I choose. I am motivated by the unusual things, the things we may take for granted or things that need to have representation. These quiet treasures become my inspiration. I like to try different mediums and explore new disciplines.
