DISNEY CAMP

Come learn all the Disney stories from Lion King to Cinderella, Elsa & Anna, Paw Patrol and more! Students will read stories, make crafts, play games, sing, dance, act and transform into their favorite Disney characters!
STORYTIME CREATIONS

This camp is designed to provide a warm welcoming environment geared specifically towards the creative spirit of children 3-5 years old. It is a creative mix of Storytime, arts & crafts projects, and free art play. Campers should dress for a lovely mess.

DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES

Dancers will engage in modern, jazz, hip hop and ballet techniques while dancing to a wide range of music from the 60’s to the 2000’s. With creative exercises students will explore fun new movements to different genres of music. Throughout each week dancers will learn a fun and exciting routine which they will showcase to friends and family!
CARDBOARD CRAZY

What can you do with an empty box? This sculpture class will explore various ways to attach cardboard to build unique creations. Children will consider proportion, balance, composition and structural integrity when bringing their ideas to life in 3-D form using a variety of recycled materials and adhesives. Students will bring home 3-D sculptures based on individual designs.
FUN WITH FIBERS

Let’s play with fiber! Children will explore a variety of materials including yarn, felt, looms and string. Campers will weave, sew, and knot to make 2-D and 3-D creations. The possibilities are endless with fibers! Projects will include woven animals, felt finger puppets, homemade painted looms, and stuffed animals.
BEACH & SURF ART JR

Led by local surf artist and teacher “Bogy”, students will learn to make beach & surf art. Inspired by the OC lifestyle, this class will highlight the beach, surf and boardwalk. Students will create paintings and oil pastel drawings, use clay to build miniature sandcastles, cut paper collages and more. If your kids like the beach and boardwalk this is the perfect camp!
ANIMALS

In this class led by local artist and teacher “Bogy”, students will learn how to draw animals of all kinds. They will create underwater scenes with watercolors and oil pastels, paint their favorite animal on canvas, make an animal collage, create 3-D sculptures and practice drawing correct animal forms. If you love animals and want to get better at drawing then this class is for you!

Students will explore creatures of the sea and beach themes using oil pastels, CLAY, paper and paint. This unique learning experience places an emphasis on having fun while exploring creativity! Students will bring home artwork to be proud of!

This camp is designed for kids who want to have fun experimenting with air-dry clay. We’ll focus on the hand-building techniques of pinch, coil and slabs while creating unique sculptural works. We will create pottery that is inspired by the nature that surrounds us, including its distinctive shapes, rich colors and textural elements. Students will bring home a number of handmade items.
COMICS & CARTOONING

Campers will explore creating characters and visual stories while being shown different drawing and painting techniques to bring their creations to life. Campers will learn illustration, pen and ink techniques, storyboarding, painting, color theory and figure drawing.
COLOR SPLASH

Campers will spend a week exploring the world of color through various materials and media. Projects will include abstract painting, oil pastels, Blacklight art, and watercolor. The week will conclude with a camper led art show.
YOGA & MINDFUL ART JR

Campers will practice yoga, meditation and create mindful crafts with a certified yoga instructor and local teacher. They will have fun stretching and strengthening their bodies and minds with a series of yoga poses and a variety of meditation techniques. Relevant and creative art projects such as canvas art, mandala art, chakra jewelry, woven crafts and dream catchers will reflect our daily practice. Please bring yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.
SUN-SATIONAL

We will be using wire and other mediums to make 3-D pieces. This class will explore some ways to use wire, yarn, beads & more to create wearable and/or hangable art for yourself or a loved one. Projects will include name in wire & yarn, jewelry, tree, bird on a branch & more.
SEED BEAD BRACELET WEAVING

Come experience a creative and unique art project. Campers will create seed bead woven bracelet(s). Students will use a loom, needle, and seed beads. The final project(s) are useful and beautiful. This camp is designed for older campers.
BEACH & SURF ART

GARDEN ART

Take a break from the heat and come create some amazing artwork for your or your family’s garden. This class will include at least one live plant to take home. Projects will include stepping stones, painted pots and garden fairies.
PLAYING WITH ART

Campers will explore playfulness in art. With inspiration from past artists, each camper will paint, draw, build and sculpt with a range of materials and techniques. We’ll take a close look at the optical illusions of a 16th century painter, the drawing games of 19th century Parisian writers and the life-size work of a contemporary kinetic artist. Campers will play with the materials and methods as well as their imaginations! Projects will include portrait collages, kinetic drawing, 3-D drawings & Artist trading cards.

CLAY TIME WITH MIXED MEDIA

This camp is designed for a slightly older group of kids who want to continue their exploration of air-dry clay or try something fun and new! Along with learning about basic hand-building techniques of pinch, coil, and slabs the students will incorporate other mediums into their work. Inspiration for these projects will be derived from nature (beach & surf) and the student’s personal hobbies and favorite things. Students will bring home a number of handmade items.

DIGITAL ART

Campers will learn how to create works of art using a tablet or smartphone. Topics will focus on portraiture, perspective drawing, photography and video editing. Campers will learn how to use a variety of applications and principles of design and will create a diverse digital portfolio of work. Tablet or smartphone is required. A stylus is recommended.
GAME TIME
