    Watercolor Foundations

    This course introduces students to the fundamentals of watercolor painting. Students will explore essential techniques, color theory, composition and creative expression while building confidence in handling watercolor materials. No prior experience required.

    Let's Draw!

    What do you want to draw? Portraits, still-life, animals, flowers, boats? Bring your ideas and we will explore techniques and tools, including using various papers with graphite pencils, color pencils and/or pen & ink to gain new skills or take the ones you already have to the next level. We will also discuss composition and perspective in drawings with individual support given. Bring any supplies you have and we will discuss anything you may need at the first class

    Different Ways of Looking at Art!

    This series is designed for individual who want to deepen their ability to truly see and appreciate works of art. Participants will explore art history, key concepts and techniques for analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating art, building upon their growing understanding throughout the series.

    LIGHT & COLORS IN OILS!

    Students will use their own prints from magazines or personal photos from subjects such as landscapes, seascapes or still life. Instructor will teach/coach the students on composition, color mixing, use of mediums such as liquin, oil painting techniques and proper brush use to achieve bright, lively oil paintings.

    Acrylics & Watercolor for Fun!

    Introduction to Jewelry Making

    Explore the art of handmade jewelry design through the use of color, creativity and basic wire-wrapping techniques. In each class, you’ll learn new skills and create a unique piece, such as bracelets, earrings and necklaces. No prior experience is needed – just bring your creativity and a willingness to learn!

    Due to space limitations, we have to cap the number of overall pottery students. Currently, all pottery classes are at capacity.

    Kimekomi Bee Ornaments Workshop

    Create a beautiful springtime ornament using the Kimekomi
    technique! Unlike traditional sewing crafts, Kimekomi is a modern,
    no-sew Japanese-inspired decorating method where fabric is tucked into pre-cut grooves on foam balls to create stunning patterns. In
    this workshop, participants will design bee-themed ornaments using 6-section foam balls. You'll learn how to tuck fabric into grooves using simple tools like a craft knife, glue, and pins. All supplies are included — just bring your creativity!

    Get creative with color in this fun, hands-on tie-dye workshop! Learn basic tie-dye techniques and design your own unique pattern.     Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art studied to promote relaxation and to encourage meditation. The slow, flowing exercise of the Tai Chi "form" is taught along with several breathing exercises. Tai Chi is often called "mediation in motion" as it encompasses both physical and mental exercise.

    Dancers will study the classic techniques and placement of ballet along with ballet combinations, poise and grace. The second half of the class will be focused on jazz dance technique. Students will explore the movement of jazz along with funky combinations, pop movements and classic jazz technique. *Please be prepared with ballet leotard, tights or jazz clothing such as jazz pants or shorts.

    Modern Dance

    Dancers will explore creativity through natural movement of the body. Modern dance uses the technique of ballet along with other dance styles to create a unique form of self-expression including use of floor, gravity and abstract movement. Students will engage in modern dance warm up, across the floor combinations and collaborations of a vast range of dance routines. *Dance experience recommended. Students wear fitted dance clothing and bare feet.

    Learn the essentials of proper technique, standard notation, tablature, rhythm, chords, scales, improvisation and more. Students explore a variety of musical styles including songs of their own choosing.



    Ukulele & Guitar

    Emphasis on correct technique and necessary fundamentals to ensure steady progress and thorough enjoyment of the guitar or ukulele. Lessons are tailored to the individual student's needs and designed to be fun!

    There is no age limit on learning to play the piano! Students will learn the basics of music reading along with different styles of performance. A piano recital is held for all participating piano students. Must have either an acoustic piano or 61 key keyboard.

    Drums & Percussion

    Students learn sight reading, ear training, snare drum rudiments, drum set, dynamics in music, use of sticks, mallets and brushes in musical setting. Preparation for school band, community orchestras, pop bands, college concert and marching band.
